Event Title: The New Hatch Office- Not Just a Green Office

Brief Description: The first office in the Illawarra to be submitted for GreenStar rating has been completed by Hatch. This office contains many cutting edge and innovative design features- such as; reactive lighting that responds to daylight and occupants, Rainwater harvesting for reuse in toilets and low to no VOC construction materials. However it goes well beyond being a green office and is designed to create an environment that fosters innovation, enhances interpersonal trust and supports teamwork. Steve Gale, Hatch’s project manager talks and walks you through the trials and tribulations of creating a radical new office environment in the Illawarra.

Event Title: Maximising Profitability, Minimising Risk in a Carbon Constrained World.

Brief Description: Presenter: Stephen Gale, Hatch Sustainability Projects Leader. Major CO2 emitters are turning to Hatch for advice on managing their emissions. Steve Gale has been helping several such major emitters identify what their carbon risks are, develop plans to mitigate the risks and seek opportunities. Steve believes that being proactive and using innovative practices will not only save money, increase profits and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions, but will also lead to a much stronger local economy and a healthier and more sustainable natural and physical environment.
