That's right. And not by just one wash at a time but by one shower, one wall, one curtain, one pelmet, one brick...even one lightbulb at a time. Although none of these sounds particularly heroic, dramatic or overly impressive, over time they can accomplish such deeds as your regular underpants worn on the outside heroes would be recognised as having performed. Still confused? Well we're actually talking about saving water, electricity, the use of excessive detergents and cleaning products as well as increasing the efficient use of energy in your home. Yes, yours, mine, everyone's home.

It's each of us in our homes that use many resources be it for washing, cooking, keeping us warm or cool, packaging our food, running our toasters, stereos and ovens. When the amount of resources used by one home are multiplied by every home in your street, town, city, state and our whole country it rivals and can exceed the use of some resources by our industries which are often blamed for so much of the waste and pollution problems in our world. The fact that we at home contribute to part of this problem is strangely the bit which is most exciting. We have the power to change it!! That's right, nobody can do it but us. Can't you just feel the power rippling through you? Yes the power to fight waste and misuse wherever you look.
