Knowledge is Power

This is so true which makes this part of our centre very important. For every exhibit you see here is a whole host of extra information, fascinating facts and more that you can take away with you. All of the innovative and environmentally conscious businesses and organisations which contribute to the exhibition with equipment, time and other support have all the details and behind the scenes information that you will need on a particular exhibit or technology. This also includes reference lists, useful internet links and people you can contact for more information. In addition to all the information you take away with you there is an extensive reading section with heaps of articles about the latest developments in conservation and renewable energy so please feel free to browse to your hearts content.

Futureworld also has several educational kits available some of which have been developed very proudly here at the centre. These are great for school groups and will keep the kids fascinated for hours as well as giving them hands on participation in the technologies we have on display here. These include the Appropriate Technology Education Kits (ATEKs) 1 and 2 for years kindergarten to 6 and high school students respectively. So please feel free to aquaint yourself to this part of our centre and ask the centre staff for any assistance you might need.

Just remember if you have any aspirations of improving the community around you, perhaps of world domination (in an environmentally friendly way of course) or to simply bulk up your mind, that knowledge is power, and to accomplish any of these goals or any others you might have, a visit to Futureworld is the ideal beginning.
