The humble Solar Cell seems incomparable to the wonder of the colossal monuments but in terms of the potential it can contribute to our society it could be as significant as the aquaducts were to the roman empire.

The earth receives enough energy from the sun everyday to power everything we have but such a minute quantity is ever harnessed. It's free and here in australia we receive such a large amount of sunshine each year it seems such a waste. Why don't we 'get with program' and utilise this vast resource?
